FAQ

Everything you need to know before booking this tour.

How many people are on each tour?
Shared tours range in size depending on who books each date. We have spacious vehicles ready if a larger group assembles.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is available as an optional upgrade on every shared tour and is strongly recommended. We coordinate it into the winery day so the group gets a real lunch without breaking the flow of the tour. Check the specific tour date for current pricing.
Where do you pick up?
We generally pick up from your accommodations within Walla Walla. If you're staying farther out, please call us to arrange pickup.
What's your refund policy?
Full refund if you change plans 10 or more days before your tour. Inside 10 days, refunds aren't available, but you can transfer your ticket to another person at no cost.
Should a larger group book a shared tour or a private tour?
Parties of 8 or more often fit a quoted private tour better than shared seats. You can still book shared seats if you prefer to join others. For a private day, contact us and we will quote it. Smaller parties of singles and couples remain a good fit for the shared per-person rate.
Can I bring children?
Shared tours are designed for adults (21+). If you're traveling with children and still want to explore Walla Walla wine country, we'd love to plan a private family-friendly experience — just get in touch.
What if the tour doesn't reach minimum guests?
If a tour is below the minimum needed to run, we'll contact booked guests with options for that date. In some cases, that may include a buy-up offer so the tour can still operate with a smaller group, moving to another shared date, converting to a private tour, or receiving a refund if we cannot operate the departure.
What time does the tour start?
Tours start at 10:00 AM. We ask that guests be ready 10 minutes before pickup.
What should I bring?
A water bottle, sunglasses, and an appetite. Comfortable shoes are a good call because some wineries have outdoor tasting areas.
What if it rains?
Walla Walla wineries are built for all weather. Tastings happen indoors. The tour goes regardless of forecast.
Who's my guide?
Your tour is hosted by the Walla Walla Travel team. Ryan founded Walla Walla Travel after about a decade working in and around the Walla Walla wine industry, and every host is focused on a relaxed, well-run day.
